Country View Camping

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Stay at Country View Camping! We had an absolutely brilliant time at Country View Camping and will definitely be going back! From the moment we arrived, Patrick was a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he was great fun, welcoming and really went out of his way to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The kids had an amazing time with plenty to keep them entertained. I think they spent most of the day bouncing on the bouncy castle! 😂 The sports bar was a real bonus too. Great drinks, a really enjoyable atmosphere, and we were able to sit back and watch the rugby — perfect! Our cabin was clean, comfortable and cosy, and after a busy day the beds were incredibly welcoming and we all slept brilliantly. A great place for families, a relaxed atmosphere and a host who genuinely makes you feel welcome. Thanks Patrick for a fantastic stay — we'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!”

“This is our 3 rd time staying in one of The lodges … it’s such a great place situated at the bottom of the Hill side .. Beautiful views At all times . Just a lovely clam place to stay and so near many lovely places to visit from Bath to Chedder gorge … Longleat safaris for the family stone henge … its situated in a prefect location from a 30 mins drive to the coastal longer drives which are also stunning. .. Patrick and family are lovely & helpful and easy going that make you feel part of a bigger family Thank you for a great place to stay .. we will be back 😜”

“Wonderful campsite. From the stunning views to the warm welcome from Patrick and his family, who went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fantastic stay! The location is lovely and quiet , with plenty of safe space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. We visited as part of a large camping group, with some staying in their own tents and others in the on-site bell tents and cabins. The cabins are new and lovely, with comfortable beds. Once fully completed, they will have their own bathroom facilities, which will be a fantastic addition. There is a cosy covered outside communal area to relax in during the evenings, complete with a log burner. Onsite the cafe / bar serves food along with hot and cold drinks. The free pool, darts and juke box in the cafe / bar were a great addition to our stay and it’s a great place to hangout if it starts to get a bit chilly in the evening. The campsite is the perfect place to relax and unwind.Thank you Patrick and family for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to come back !”
