Country View Camping is a relaxed, family-run site set in beautiful countryside — a place to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the outdoors. We offer lodges and cabins all year round, plus seasonal tents and pitches through the warmer months. With clean facilities, a welcoming clubhouse serving hot food and drinks, and firepits for cosy evenings, we've got everything you need for a comfortable stay close to nature.

“Wonderful campsite. From the stunning views to the warm welcome from Patrick and his family, who went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fantastic stay! The location is lovely and quiet , with plenty of safe space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. We visited as part of a large camping group, with some staying in their own tents and others in the on-site bell tents and cabins. The cabins are new and lovely, with comfortable beds. Once fully completed, they will have their own bathroom facilities, which will be a fantastic addition. There is a cosy covered outside communal area to relax in during the evenings, complete with a log burner. Onsite the cafe / bar serves food along with hot and cold drinks. The free pool, darts and juke box in the cafe / bar were a great addition to our stay and it’s a great place to hangout if it starts to get a bit chilly in the evening. The campsite is the perfect place to relax and unwind.Thank you Patrick and family for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to come back !”

“Great campsite. The lodges are yet to have toilets put in but the communal bathrooms were fine. Patrick was such a great host and he had a lovely bar to get cold drinks from. Would go back.”

“A lovely site with beautiful views. The only noise at night other than a distant rumble from a train (not a problem at all) was the sound of owls and bats. The park and the bouncy castle was great for my 5 year old and Patrick couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. The inside space was great, especially as it was raining when we arrived and we didn't want to pitch out tent in the rain.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better 3 days at Country View. From the warm welcome from Patrick, who couldn’t do enough to make sure we had an amazing stay, to the beautiful location. It was a perfect base to explore with lots of recommendations from our host. Our kids loved the play area and bouncy castles, and they were safe to run around independently. The tents are beautiful with great attention to detail. Patrick provided battery powered candles and the solar fairy lights really mean the place comes alive at night. Showers and toilet block were spotless. And what a bonus having the bar with great coffee (not instant) and food, and somewhere warm to be at night with free pool table, log burner and music. Cannot recommend enough! We’ll definitely be back.”
